hi all.. i was wondering whether it is possible to buy a country domain for an already published site. for example bangladeshi domain has .bd at the end. so can i purchase www.amazon.com.bd or www.yahoo.com.bd? i checked it online its not bought. i mean i'm not specifically saying that it would have to be a famous site. but can country domain be bought for any hosted website? please let me know. i want to buy www.web.com.bd but www.web.com is already bought. so help me out with ur answer. thanks in advance.
It's a tricky field. With UDRP - process if someone has Trademark - and you register domain for the TM - officially they can come after you to claim the domain (and at times press for damages). Perhaps you could visit websites such as udrpcommentaries.com which have loads of cases - and find out relevant cases that may be in similar domain as yours. Please remember that ccTLD's have their own DRP - and you may be adviced to check them as well before you venture to purchase a ccTLD! Thx
Such domains will face trademark issues and one day the main companies will just take it from your account you can offcourse use domains which are keyword rich

First thing come to my mind is don't reveal the domain name which you want to buy. Secondly if your are looking big site/company bangladeshi domain then first clear the trademarks issue for domestic and international use.
