Please try to avoid "I use blabla and it's nice" , all programs are good but I'm asking if you tried these two and which is better ..

Hearing about xiti for the first time as well, and for me analytics works perfectly.
So my vote goes to analytics as well.

I used both at the beginning of my IM career. Nowadays I only use GA because it's superior in pretty much everything and more accurate...

What i dont like in GA is their site limitation. I have over 35 sites and it only allows 35 sites to track :(
I never heard of Xiti though and I'll start using it without sacrificing GA. I also use quantcast so maybe you would consider quantcast also.

Since Google acquired urchin I've been using Google Analytics exclusively. Just with GA, there's too much info to hande already. So I just stick with GA and can't even compare with other analytics packages anymore.

Google Analytics is an offshoot of Urchin, which is when I started using it as well (when Google acquired Urchin)

Xiti is cool only in that it produces nice heat maps of the sites in regards to usability. Other than that, it all comes down to accuracy and accuracy = Google Analytics. Xiti is cool but Google Analytics is king. They are comparable but Google Analytics has more features and has more utilitarian information which is accurate. I'd go with GA, although you CAN try Xiti at the same time to determine which you like more
