Hi DP Members, I am new to email marketing, I have some doubts regarding the email marketing can i proceed it here. Suppose i send email to 50 members and how can i would find out how many of them opened and how many of them are not opened its possible to find out in the Free Email Marketing Software.
Hi to you too, I don't know any free email marketing software that can do this. But if you an autoresponder service like Aweber or Getresponse, they have the feature that is called Click Tracking. the only email markerting you should be doing is opt-in really. you could add tracking code with images and chat code that will tell you when the recipient opens them assuming their anti virus software or mail settings dont block the image or code.

i am not sure free software does it but i agree that aweber and getresponse are very good services to use to track the open or clickthrough rates of your email

The one problem with free autoresponders is that it means you will often have ads popping up all over the place. Instead, I would recommend using a paid autoresponder such as Aweber.
Someone says that mail marketing is the best solution to drive traffic, what you guys are thinking about it ?
well i think yes..Get a couple of thousands of email from people and just email to them.they can be from savvy workers or just normal housemums.it's your choice.
not the best..but a very good option.. i generally check my mails before starting any work and if the headline in the newsletter looks interesting, i visit the site..
You know if you already have a free emailing software, you could at least track clicks using something like bit.ly which can easily track & monitor real time stats of the clicks at least. Dan
