I registered 10 domains via godaddy. Didn't keep it on their hosting. Paid via paypal. Bought hosting for 13$ at xproxyhost. Why do I register the ".info" domains at godaddy? because they are cheap and at xproxyhost they cost 10$. I pointed it to their nameservers. works fine for a few days. All is going very well. I submitted the 10 sites to about 70 proxy list sites by hand and on the first day, i earned a few dollars with them via adsense (just on the front page. Not on the proxified pages). A good start I thought. This morning, i set up alot of advertising scheduled for tomorrow via proxy.org with email blasts etc. Altogether this cost around 40 - 50$. This very same night, GoDaddy, without a word. No email or any warning of any kind, refunded my money. The domains aren't able to be accessed, but still considered registered. So there is NO WAY I can buy the domains again by tomorrow. I try to log on to my Godaddy account, and it says it is locked. There was NO WARNING and not even an email to alert me to the closing of my account. Where did I go wrong?
I have up to 50 domains registred with GoDaddy, but none of them hosted with them. Few are hosted with different paid and free hosting services, majority is parked with different parking service then the one of GoDaddy. I think your issue is not related to the fact, that you have the domains hosted somewhere else.
Yes but that's exactly why i'm wondering why they would do this to me without warning or alert and make me lose 30x what I earned.
I suppose that could be the problems with your web hosting service instead\. Have you checked your web hosting account?
Yeah. My web hosting is still set up. Why would godaddy refund my money and lock my account because of my host? I also just checked the NameServers that GoDaddy changed it to. It changed it to "NS1.SUSPENDED-FOR-SPAM-AND-ABUSE.COM". Are proxy sites not allowed via godaddy?
that sucks may be they received spam complaints and they suspended the domains godaddy sucks for this kind of things. idiots they assume they are cyber cops
