If I were to transfer a domain from namecheap to godaddy to a buyer, how long and in what way can I cancel the transaction once both parties agreed to it?

If the buyer didn't pay the agreed price when you receive the e-mail asking for the final authorization to the transfer you can still cancel the transfer.

This is after the EPP code has been sent to the buyer, and the domain is unlocked. The godaddy security code that I received has been emailed to the buyer.

Are you running some kind of scam or you didn't get paid?

No I am not running any scam. The buyer is paying with an e-check. I would usually wait till e-check clears, but due to certain circumstances we aren't going to be waiting that long, and knowing a domain transfer takes 3 - 5 days.

Asking the buyer to stop the transfer is another solution.

once domain transfer initiated you can't change anything ;)
