hello! affiliate marketers and webmasters. do you feel that customers are still responsing to ads and marketing and still willing to try products and buy products or it is harder now. plz share your expereince before crisis and after and the difference. thankyou
Potential customers are everywhere and so are the competitors. The answer to this question will vary so much depending on the market one is involved in and how much effort they are putting into their business.
Online business is very specific. I belive than if your product is sold mostly thru traffic from search engines it is so much targeted that you will always earn some bucks.
I think in these uncertain times, people are concentrating on basic needs like health. I have several websites in the health niche and have found this year to be busier than before. They will shop around, so you need to have all the information and resources they need to make a decision. In that respect, we need to step up and make web based offers more appealing.
I have to agree with mariner7. Now that we are in a global recession people will take longer to make decisions. They will take even longer to spend any money on whatever it is that they are looking to purchase. So you either have to sell something with a good quality or with good price. People are not spending as foolishly as they did a couple of years ago for example.
Certain things have picked up, others are VERY slow! It just depends on the service/product...you just have to adapt.
it really depends on the products. unfortunately in a recession, people are more likely to respond to money making schemes or educational products, rather than real products.
