Hey; I have this issue in one of my client's website. Its been 2 months still now i have submitted a sitemap.xml in webmaster. My sitemap have 10 links and at its showing 0 indexed URL's tab. But if i search In Google my website pages are been ranking for my keywords so how is it so that Google showing its pages not been indexed and they are those pages can be viewed in 1st page in SERP and getting Good traffic too. Does anyone knows how to cope with it. I already have resubmitted websites many times.
What is the site's domain name? Is your site indexed with or without www? Did you verify the www or non-www version of the domain? What is likely happening is the site's URLs are indexed as non-www but you verified the www version of the site (or visa versa). If you verified the www version of the domain, simply logon to WMT and verify the non-www (or visa versa). It won't even require another <meta> verification tag or HTML verification file.
To be honest, i'd be more concerned if it was the other way round. Webmaster Tools has a long history of problems and it is rarely, if ever, up to date. You say your pages are ranking - quit worrying.
yeah i wouldn't worry about it.webmaster takes ages to update It is a very good tool but also has its downsides.
We can help you better if you can share the URL. most of the times it's a silly robots.txt or meta tags issue.
Thanks for the advice dude have worked this way out also but still the same issue My both www. and non www domain both are showing 0 indexed pages
If it's marketraise.com then I'm seeing lots of pages indexed. So you have verified (and it's flagged "Verified" in the dashboard) both the www.marketraise.com AND marketraise.com yet neither are showing URLs? That would be weird unless you just haven't given it time to update. Many of the screens in Google's WMT only get updated every week or two. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to which screens get updated and how often.
well i am providing you with screen shot see and view it i am having same update for both www.jonhirschlaw.com and jonhirsch.com
I have found that Webmaster tools sometimes takes a while to update. If your appearing on the serps that's all that matters, just give WT time to catch up. Dee
