jammoody ..... the effect on keywords in a domain from what I here is based on relevancy.... and your right the contents by far is the meet of the sights crawl central...... seo experts also believe that havuing one or mtwo relayted named increase the aqueez rate or juice from the se''s...... im just looking at how many words would matter more then two or three ... so I here from a top seo ........((You can use Google Insights to compare them if there is enough natural search volume. If not you'll just have to rely on gut feeling. I would keep it short if possible)))) ---
in terms of crawling, it doesn't matter what you have in your domian name. all the domains get crawled the same way. how often the robots visit your site to crawl depends on the number of backlinks and how often you update your site. in terms of keyword in the domain, it is extremely important that you have your main kw in the domain name. if you cannot find the kw rich domain, then using dashes wil still give you the same SEO benefit but domain without dash is good for branding. domains with kw in them rank higher than domain without kw. its still possible to rank a domain without the kw in the domain, you just need to work lot harder
so in the reality if I was targeting a city as a handyman like Iwoahandyman.com I could better or rank faster then IwoaHome.com .... or vise versa ... woukld the city or the trade be whats important in this type of keyword domain .... in ranks .... or relevancy ... what counts most ....
