    well most people comming from social networking sites are not serious... they use social networking for timepass.. hence conversion ratio is less..

    Please don't under estimate visitors from social networking site. If your post or website really interest them, they are the one who will help you to spread your website around. Some of these are bloggers, they will even link your site on their website/blog earning yourself a backlink.

    Social bookmarking sites is one good way to obtain traffic, but do not rely on them solely. The organic traffic always perform better for you.

    There's no problem with the traffic from social bookmark sites.
    But, generally they don't click on ads but increase the impressions decreasing the ctr.

    There isnt a problem with getting traffic from social bookmarking sites and social networking sites. Even if the visitors are not buying right away from your site or are not staying, they still clicked through from something to your site, so you can think that you got significant attention generating stuff in there. Also, it helps in indexing in the search engines whereby it improves your ranking. So theoretically, it is an indirect feeder to the search engine pathway of getting traffic and sales.
