    Hi,

I want to send about 5000 emails a day..

Can do with HostGator, but they have hourly limits. I need something without hourly limits..

    Thanks

I believe each web host has them. I think that you need dedicated server for that. Just start your own research and ask abot permission to host that stuff there before signing up

5000 emails at once will surely trigger lot of load take precautions while choosing host , not all host allow mail clients since there is a lot of risk of ip blacklist

Yes, most hosts won't allow that much emails going out per hour.

You need to look into a cheap VPS that sends out the emails instead.

A cheap way would be buy 5 hosting accounts and send 1000 from each ;)

Instead of putting the load on your servers and managing it yourself, suggest you to buy specialized services for mass mailing! There are providers who charge you a nominal fee and manage and maintain subscriptions for you as well as provide reports on delivered vs bounced messages.

    Thx

That is something you can looking into.

You will need a good dedicated server with some serious CPU and RAM to send so many emails. Even a cheap VPS (some members suggest this) wont help as it will simply crash the poor machine.

A dedicated server as others have mentioned is the only way to accomplish this. What you are looking at doing is resource intensive, and also can endanger an entire shared servers network of sites if the IP gets banned as a result.

Almost all shared web hosting accounts will not allow more then 300 emails per hour.

As others have suggested, get a Dedicated server!

You should go for a dedicated server if you do not want to have any limit.

You could use phplist and throttle back how many emails to send per hour.

Like you could send 300 per hour until the whole list is sent. I can set this up for you as I've done it millions (almost) of times before.
