    This one is converting beautifully, and took the chance to put it on CB for the first time.

    Product Sales Page --> http://hemorrhoidfreeforlife.com
    Affiliate Page ---> http://hemorrhoidfreeforlife.com/affiliates.html
    Paying 75% on a $37 product.

    From my testing, the best method to use is Bum Marketing + PPC. The 12% conversion rate is from Bum Marketing.
    Note that it is the GROSS conversion rate, NOT HOP CONVERSION. The strategy used was:
    Create Landing page that specifically reviews the product.
    Create Bum-pages (articles) that cover general keywords, rank high in SEs and send traffic to the landing page that reviews the product.
    The landing page reviews the product (keep it realistic - point out anything negative you can find as well).
    12% was the landing page's conversion rate (obviously hop conversion would be higher, but that is irrelevant).
    PPC gross conversion rate was around 3-4%.

    In part, I think the 'personal' and non-salsey sales letter is what does it. Other than that, this is a hungry niche!

    The site's design, sales page, and everything else has been redone to be put on CB and now that it is approved, am looking for affiliates.

    Will post CB Analytics shots as they come.

    @rolf - thanks! Hopefully you'll see good conversions from this as well - give it a shot!
    @cri8bat - Try again - it's working just fine now. I was making a small change to it.

    Hi Kaiba:
    Please take a look at the full strategy and you will see that converting a good product in a good niche is not hard:

    Now for the proof - I used a few different landing pages, but don't have access to 2 of them anymore, so can't furnish the exact stats from them. However, I will say that there were about 25 sales from the landing pages that amounted to just about 12% based on the calculations I did then. I can show you some stats from my bum marketing ezinearticles with a CTR of 25%+...the rest should be obvious :)

    Plus - here's the best test - just write up some articles on keyphrases with 3 or more words and a good landing page that reviews the product properly (not a sales page). You'll see that the 12% conversion rate is no joke. In fact, I've had some other products with a LOT worse sales pages convert at 10% or so using this strategy properly.

    Quite nice landing page.

    I would make the header bigger to make it more noticable, and also change the order button to something more effective. The current one looks kind of too simple and ugly.

    Sales page looks good. Some banners from my general health related sites would be nice.

    I love when a publisher supplies a ready made email follow up series that I can simply stick my affiliate code into and put on aweber. So you might think about doing that

    @ Marcusio:
    Yes, more affiliate resources are forthcoming - in 2-3 days at most you'll see a whole bunch more resources on there.

    @Terryd:
    Yes, will be posting some conversion shots here soon. Here are two from PPC campaigns. NOTE THAT THE CLICKS GO TO THE LANDING PAGE FIRST, not directly to the sales page. Direct sales page conversion was max. 4% at one point:
    http://hemorrhoidfreeforlife.com/conversions.jpg

    I am actually a little surprised that people are wondering if 12% is achievable since my typical conversion rate even as an affiliate is 5-9%. The trick is all in making good landing pages, with good quality scores, and making sure to pre-sell the product, not sell it. Bum Marketing + Good Landing pages is the BEST combination IMO so far.

    What do you mean by presell it, not sell it? How to do that?

    Preselling means you build trust and then refer to the product instead of trying to sell the product as the greatest thing since sliced bread.

    So, a good preselling article will discuss different issues around hemorrhoids, and how one should go about treating them and so on. Meanwhile, a 'selling article' or a 'sales pitch' article will go into how great the product is and why the reader should be using it. That's what you don't want to do. Focus on providing trust worthy information and BENEFITS, not product features or how it will treat the condition in 5 minutes or whatever.

    hello Chixco:

    I'm putting up an email series, some promotional emails, a sample landing page text, and banners here later today. I will update this thread when it is all on there as well.

    Did you try your Hemorrhid guide on yourself to see if it works before
    sending it out to the general public?

    @Darkeralice:
    Not on myself (since I've never had the condition) - but I had a close relative and a few friends use it - particuarly after preganancy since this is a common complaint after that. Not only did they see great immediate relief (2 reported great help within the same day), but they have all (ALL - 100%) treated their condition completely.

    I've also compared this with other leading information products in the industry, and this one has far more information in much less words (which means less filler and more focus on getting to the treatments).

    my suggestions:
    move the top navigation bar to right side
    change color from green to red or orange
    bigger headline with red color
    have order now button on every sub-page!
    put your own picture for credibility
    more gaps between paragraphs
    have some bullet points
    change the order button.its looking too decent & cold

    anyways, plz pm me the landing page you used for bum-marketing. I think I should promote this product to see how well it goes!!
