We are making many different project for ourselves ( browser games, network blogging, hosting, etc. ) beside project for our clients. We do SEo and stuff too, for us and clients. Some times experimenting with spam Ok, lets start with the questions about... China Internet Market. I want to get some traffic from China. Make there some quality blogs, or smtg. like that. 1. How much % is Google Search on Chinese market get. How much % gets Baidu. 2. How does englisch language sites related to China get indexed, and get search traffic from the search engines. 3. What sites aren't indexed by Baidu ? 4. Are the sites placed on server located in China better working/indexed there ? 5. How does the sites wriiten and translated by a web translator ( like google translate ), are indexed, get traffic there ? 6. How AdSense react on traffic becoming from china to a europe located english/china language site ? 7. Which phrases in China are best paid ? 8. Which phrases are most searched on the baidu ( is tehre a google trends alike site ) ? 9. How does the wordpress index on baidu ? 10. What english sites niches are there in china ? 11. China market isn't easy to penetrate. They are more of trying to built an intranet for themselves and to have a virtual Great Wall of China against external traffic. Baidu is the dominant player in China and I guess you need to translate your content to Chinese. Using a web translator really doesn't help that much. Not too accurate.
You didn't say me nothing new. I know that it's not easy to start, but I know that pepole are doing it form outside of China. I don't know which way is the best way. To geit to their intranet
I am from China, but your problem is that you don't know Chinese language . If you are good at asp or php program, you may draw a good traffic from mainland china .
I'm not from Chinese, but I also have something to say. In my opinion, maybe you should get some investigation of China market including the usage of webhosting and price and the superiority and weakness of the main webhosting providers and ... ,so that some wise policy can be made to penetrate into China market. There are new regulation about foreign websites in China. Hundreds of thousand foreign websites are banned by search engine such as Baidu and cannot be accessed from China. I don't think it will be the best time for web-based business to penertrate the Chinese market. If you are really looking to develop your business in the mainland. check detail information about the new regulation and figure out whether the content on your websites are allowed to be checked in China and whether they'll be banned from accessing in the mainland. Or you'll be waste your time and money investing in developing SEO in this market.
The Chinese market is HUGE! My suggestion is you need a have a Chinese business partner in this field since you have too many questions. To answer your #1 qustion: for sure baidu is the no.1 #4 qustion: No. reall not nessesary.
Hi, I am from China. You may focus on the Baidu if you want to go into the Chinese market. Google only take up small share in Search Engine in China. Chinese like use Baidu. not google. And google violate the chinese law recently. The Government has banned its overseas search and blogger.
