text look too cramped. The ads on the left is better placed horizontally at the bottom so you have more space. If you want to get people's attention, you need to do it in a few words.

you should add some left and right padding to the columns in the middle and also to the right column. and if i were you i would also add top padding to your top navigation bar (the black one)

It was fast in loading but overall it was not attractive and there are alignment issues to be corrected. The text in right box should be aligned properly by using padding and the menu bar is too short and need to be decorated with design since it looks simple now.

your site looks like just a blog...

you haven't specified about the forums anywhere else other than in the navigation links.

I suggest you to add an ajax based pop up screen with a link to the registration page of your forums so that each visitor will know about your forums...

    Best of luck,
    Sandeep

The text layout bugs my eye, as others have pointed out.

Give a picture - it will attract more people. It is short enough . But yes, you need some graphic in it. Tq

hey thanks for the advice, i will try to incorporate this over the next week!

I am confused by this statement "The ads on the left is better placed horizontally at the bottom so you have more space"

my CTR is above single digits and has been for several months

i am having a hard time seeing where to put the pictures . should i do a big banner or just smaller pics

I think you need to bring a huge improvement to this website, it's very busy and not easy to read, maybe try to add some graphics and add some left padding to texts, also as someone said before, it would be better if you put your adsense ad horizontally, because the way you have it in your website takes too much space at the expense of your content. I think you need to re work your website design from the beginning as it is not user friendly at all. Sorry dude, this a constructive advice.

    All the best,
    Imad

May be you can place the horizontal ads at the bottom of the page?

more spacing between the two content text
    too dull
    use margin, spacing
maybe a smaller login box on top
    no images

When I see your site, I think the look your going for is for a clean, professional, and user-friendly site. A perfect example would be on www.princetonreview.com
Hope that gives you some ideas and inspiration
