My brother just opened his adsense account yesterday and he applied using his anime download site and 'jaaaannnggg.....' his application was accepted!! I always thought that anime download sites are against TOS. But google accepted this by them selves then its cool with anime rite??
Well Adsense will allow to accumulate 100$ and then boom BAN . But sometimes if he is lucky he can still make money ... There are cases where legitimate users are Banned and some where non legitimate users are being paid
Your brother is walking a thin line. Google can ban him at anytime, and if he is thinking of making some serious money he can't afford to take the risk. He'll be looking over his shoulder all the time, it can be quite unnerving, if he cares and worries that he'll loose his account. Google does random checks on the sites that hosts their ads (especially if you're new to make sure there's no click fraud) so your brother has got to watch out. The only option is not to use Adsense on the anime site but use it on one that is kosher.
Lets watch what happens to him i think ask your brother to not supress or do extra effort for making mroe money with adsense otherwise might be possible that after account banning all his work goes in vain
Personally I have never been banned by Adsense. I have owned many Anime Download Sites, Warez Forums, heck even porn sites. All had Adsense on them and I crossed the $1000 threshold many times with those sites. Google always paid me. This is my own personal experience. Not saying that the banhammer won't strike you. It also depends if the clicks are converting at all if there are heaps that aren't. Then Google will look into your site. And that is when they will bring the ban hammer out. offtopic: Jeehan your post count is 1234. Gave me a bit of a chuckle. Sorry but I just had to point that out.
