How Do I Get Search Traffic?

I am having some problems with my site: lolblackjack.com

There are over 1000 pages (multiple languages) with lots and lots of written content and I have a PageRank 4 BOTW listing.

Yet I get only 1 or 2 visitors from search engines each day. None from google in weeks and most are bots. I thought I had the page optimized as best as I could but for some reason nothing works.

How do I get more search engine and Google traffic?

 

Try to have a a keyword so that you could get more traffic.

 

I would like to suggest you that :-
1. find a keyword
2. Do on page optimization
3. Start linkbuilding

 

I'm not sure if you looked at my site or not but I have an obvious keyword "blackjack" that I am going for.

I have other keywords throughout the site related to blackjack and it's optimized as much as possible that I know of.

Can you be a little more specific on what to do with my site exclusively?

I just checked your site. I think you should do more offsite seo. Concentrate on getting hyperlinked keyword dofollow backlink to your site. Install, google.com/analytics for your site and monitor which keyword google is sending you the traffic. Optimize this keyword and get top spot for this keyword in SERP ranking. It needs a lot of backlinks to get your site for top search engine result.

 

I think google has penalized you for something wrong search engine optimization tricks.

 

You need more backlinks. Your internal linking is very good. I just passed your site through traffictravis (free version) and it was rated A+ so that shows you need to work on off-page factors. You currently have 5 backlinks and zero pagerank.

You can hire a ghostwriter to write articles for you, submit a backlink to your website at the bottom of the article and use anchor text (make it a textlink and target your keywords so the search engine has an idea what the link is about before it had visted the site) you then submit these articles to directories with a high PR, incorporate keywords you are targetting in the articles written but do not make it too keyword dense. 5% is good enough, or it is too spammy and you may get asked to remove the article.

Now type in 'playing blackjack tips' and see how much you have narrowed down your competetion? a lot... to 5,050,000. Try and get it between 1000-5000 a good free tool to use would be wordtracker. You can see what phrases are getting searches.

 

use some basic keyword tools like wordtracker and are u using meta tags? and this content is huge... how many indexed pages? u can use ping services.. like pingler and technorati...

Thanks for the information! I'm glad to know that many of you also thought the internal linking and content was decent.

I will try out these article directories sometime and I guess I will have to find some ways to get backlinks.

You need to work out on SERP. Study on the keyword and Keep on build link

 

You can get 100 backlinks just by adding your site to your posting signature.

 

I guess I could have but the signature links only appear on my new posts so I can no longer get those 100.

Plus wouldn't Google frown upon casino links on an unrelated forum?

 

Do a keyword research and start building links for semi competitive keywords. Try to get quality one way links from related sites and bump it up to top 5 position and proceed further with other competitive keyword later.

 

it seems your site is getting penalized by google for some reason.

 

Put it in related forums, this will give you targetted traffic.

 

Get ranked in top 10 of first searching page in Google . Of course you will get good traffic .

I get listed 33 with keywords " SEO Tips " , but i will try more.

You need to target more specific keywords for your niche that has active monthly searches. You can find these sorts of keywords through the google keyword tool.
