Google Analytics doesnt track correctly!!!

    Do you guys think google analytics can track visitors to our site correctly? because my sites shows about 200 visits per day on AWSTATS and about 60 visitors on analytics!

    So i think AWSTATS is the most correct one so whats about your opinion ?

    So why would you think that awstats is more accurate then Google analytics? Simply because it shows you have more visitors? ;) In my experience Google Analytics is about 80% accurate. Some days our analytics goals are dead on, other days, Google is only recording half of them correctly.

    No because AWSTATS isnt based on java scripts or any kind of scripts running on our sites!

    Google Analytics runs on javascript some people may have javascript disabled on their browser as a result google might not be able to track those visitors. While Awstats records access to the server directly regardless of what people may have disabled on their browsers.

    I would take Google analytics with a grain of salt.

    Even with raw log analysis there can be discrepancies, for instance with awstat and webalizer.
    Raw log files also need to be analyzed somewhat intelligently, I'm not certain which is the best log file analysis program. I use webalizer though.

    Is it for your proxy site? Well, people coming to proxies for anonimity, might have had cookies and javascript disabled...

    this is epic! My blogs stat is same like that! wordpress panel shows about 4 online at the time every time and analytics says 20 visits a day!!!!

    website tracker has different settings to show data. And they also have different basis to compute for unique visits and pageviews.
