I agree. It was clever the first time, but now...not so much. To the OP: why not come up with your own unique (creative) ideas instead of trying methods that aren't popular anymore? You might not hit it big the first time, but all you need is one idea to take off and you're set.
Wow, you made $6? That's unexpected. You could try making a viral video, posting it on YouTube and promoting your ad space. Or post articles to ezine about marketing and what not then have your link at the bottom.
