How valuable are the pingbacks listed as "Related Blogs" at the end of posts in WordPress sites? Are they nofollow? Are they as valuable for SEO as blogroll links or links within the body of a post? I've received about 50 pingbacks to this post, more than any other article on the site and wonder how important they are to search engine algorithms. http://obsessionfitness.com/fitness...titors-share-their-ultimate-workout-routines/
Not very important to you. What you should be far more interested in are the nature and quality of the links on the pages that are linking to yours. Are they (the links from the other sites, not the pingback notices) followable by the search engines or not?
I definitely consider the authority of the site first but was wondering if the pingback links are as valuable as a manually added link on the same site. I'm not sure if the links are nofollow.
I'd have looked for the sites that were linking back to that page so I could tell you, but you seem to have pingbacks turned off (a good move, IMHO).
Not sure about what do you mean here. But if you are talking about the ping back you have, then the more you have the more viral your post. I will love to have more pingbacks.
