It’s been about a month that I have decided to start my biggest online project. But I could ‎not write a comprehensive business plan and strategy for my project yet. That is why I ‎am gonna explain everything here to get your quality feedbacks, suggestions and helps. ‎ As you know all professional guys in adsense already know about High Paying ‎Keywords and many people are targeting these high paying keywords everyday. So ‎making another mesothelioma page does not help us in making significant money ‎because we cannot bring huge traffic to such WebPages (with full of adsense codes). ‎ But what if we target all high paying keywords in one huge website? ‎ For example I’ve found out that “Golf†is a high paying keyword. Now we create a very ‎comprehensive and informative website about “Golf†. and it is not gonna be a single ‎webpage, the page about golf may contain over 50 informative pages. ‎ Now, beside “Golf†we have many other high paying keywords and so many other ‎informative websites like golf. Now my project is to put all these websites into one big ‎website that contain all high paying keywords. ‎ Now, the amazing thing is that I have bought all these high paying websites. The total ‎size of the site after uploading will be around 4 GB and there is not that much picture on ‎the pages, so just imagine that 4 GB of text and html pages means thousands of ‎informative pages with high paying keywords and ads. ‎ Please view the attachment pictures I have provided with this thread. ‎ Now, I want you to help me establish the mother-site. By “mother-site†I mean the site ‎that covers all these high paying websites inside.‎ Of course making money via adsense is my goal but it is not my primary goal. My ‎primary goal is to offer a very quality and huge website and get thousands of hits in near ‎future. So this is gonna be considered as a long-term project. ‎ Please tell me how I should organize the mother-site. What Should I offer on it? And ‎what will be the incentive for members to view the high paying websites? Maybe some ‎guys are looking for high paying keywords and high paying content. Right? This part of ‎the project is the part that I cannot handle on my own. I need a powerful policy or a ‎powerful strategy or business plan. Because still, I have no idea what quality thing (for ‎my visitors) I am gonna offer in the huge mother-site.‎ By the way, I also own a dedicated server and I am thinking about establishing a free web ‎hosting company just because of the huge traffic, it will bring to such website. If you ‎have any idea of integrating these two websites together, please let me know. (Can’t we ‎offer free web hosting to our member as an incentive?) ‎ And as I mentioned above, I am not that much money-oriented, so I am ready to warmly ‎accept the invitation of your partnership proposals if you can help me in such big project ‎of course we can share the earned money together. ‎ I am waiting for your nice suggestions. ‎ Best regards, ‎ Arasp Kazemian ‎
hmmmm. Netword of sites. Maybe ! What is your suggestion about it? Definately, It is better to work on the marketing side of ONE big website on one domain rather than hundereds of sites on differnet domains.
yea i also love the idea of making one huge website instead of many small sites, i guess its pretty good idea ,i'm interested on it oh oh but a bit difficult to bring traffic on such site at first as it contains different niche, but as your site will be informative so we should advertise with informative views.yea finally it will work well i bet .
Yes, the main reason is giving valuable information to the guys who are looking for them in one place. For the marketing we should definately go for SEO. because we have 4 GB content.
I am not sure how many people would be interested in this concept because it would mean they would not have total editorial control.
Yeah, It will be without advertisement of any kind? But how can I integrate it with my huge content site? and what should I expect my members to do for me in return of the free hosing they get?
Sounds something like about.com so I would set things up that way. Get people to keep adding fresh content to their section in return for a % of ad revenue from that section.
The query I would have is if th content was duplicate and offering nothing original ... by buying the information, was it the copywrite or was it able to be sold to multiple people. The free hosting would be an incentive though with such a huge site I am not sure which is best to get it fully indexed ... whether setting a subdomain per topic would work better or whether setting it in their own folders solely on the main domain. From a content management point of view, it would still be hosted under the same ftp account but you could assign users to only have access to a subdomain so it could help increase fresh content ... like section managers. If it was subdomains, then the 'mother-site' page would be the main domain and it would simply need a layout with each category that it link to the relevant subdomain and could also contain some general pages such as about, privacy, terms of service etc as well as the free webhosting information landing page. If it was membership based, then I am not sure how having it on different subdomains (effectively different sites) would work - whether or not each subdomain required a seperate membership login or could be generic for the whole site such as a master login.
My first thought when I read the description was also that it's like About.com. So it would be a matter of finding a similar brand-name for your main portal site. Something like "this is", or "all things", or "everything to do with", so you can have sections like "this is golf", "this is widgets", and so on. Your first stumbling block will be finding a suitable domain name, because you can bet most of the obvious and short ones will be taken.
Sounds like a lot of work creating and updating content on all the sites. If you plan to have members do the work, you'll have to give them some kind of incentive to do so. Even then, you'll have to have moderators to make sure the content meets your standards, which is a lot of work in itself. I'm not trying to discourage you but maybe you should start small and test out your ideas before getting in too deep and finding out that major changes must be made.
I've heard of such a site. It's called wikipedia. What your proposing would most easily be accomplished with a single blog with "high paying" keyword categories. You then post articles in the related categories. You could "pay" people by associating publisher ids with articles. Keep track of who wrote what article and display adsense with their pub id a portion of the time. You'll need to know some programming to maximize the potential. See http://www.johnmccainaz.com That site uses a single wordpress blog and a wiki. A custom index.php displays the articles to the user based on the "subdirectory" the user is currently viewing.
It looks to me like you're developing an all-encompassing site like About.com. I would most likely organize something like that with subdirectories or subdomains. Creating separate domains for each topic would be awfully maintenance intensive.
Good luck with this venture. EVERY marketer and business person and venture capitalist always say focus on one thing. Content sites have been adding to their sites for the past 10 years. If you are just starting up you will never catch up. You need to focus on 1 niche, attach a forum, and put up a lot of Jessica Simpson pictures . Seriousely, though, you are going to spend too much time creating the site, and having no time advertising. Good Luck
