hi, paypal disabled my bank account, and I received this email:

Your bank declined your electronic funds transfer.

You recently attempted to transfer funds from your bank account.
Your bank has declined the funds transfer.
    ...

the problem is that after this problem, I closed the paypal account.
Now when I opened new paypal account and tried to add that bank account, it says:

This bank account is disabled for entry into the PayPal website. Please
add a different bank account instead.

I contacted paypal ( with my new paypal account ), but they say I have to contact them with the paypal account where the bank account is disabled , but it is closed !

I tried many times but always the same answer. So they said if I can't contact them with the old paypal account, I have to contact them by phone.

Can you help me find another solution other than using the phone ?

    My country: Tunisia
My Bank account is in USA.

Then why don't you contact them through phonecall ? Where is the problem ??

That way you can sort out your issue quickly IMO.

It's in the first bank of Delaware, they do accept their bank account. This is not the problem, the problem is that I was using it with paypal but they disable it.

If you mean that my bank rejected the payment, yes this is true. My bank allows me to only accept payment to the bank account and not paying with, I have to pay with the attached credit card. But my use to the bank account for paying was a mistake as they ( paypal) make it the default option.

    ---------

About calling them, this is not my preferred option because of my "very bad english language" :)

May I ask, can the fax solve the problem ? Or can I get someone to call instead of me an pay it? Do paypal will not like that ?

    Thanks

Some banks don't allow access to Paypal as the banks have been burned by Paypal. Best idea would be to contact the bank directly and ask the bank if they allow access from Paypal. I realize your "poor english skills" but this is something that should be done.

The bank does accept ach direct deposit from my paypal account, but don't allow paypal to pay merchands/sellers using my bank account.
This WAS my problem, but not any more. I don't care if my bank "has been burned by Paypal" ( I don't know what that mean), but I want to withdraw my paypal balance to the bank, and this is possible ( already done) before paypal disabled this account number.

They geft me their phones numbers in their response and they say what means: this problem can be solved quickly, and your bank account will be re-enabled. But for security reason, we don't re-enable a bank account when we receive an email, but you just need to call us and we will re-enable your bank account.

They don't ask for documents. And I'm asking: Do sending them a fax will solve the problem ?

I'm in Tunisia and sending fax to USA is not easy like it seems to be, and I can receive answer from the fax. So I want to know if that will work before I do send fax.

And, is asking someone else to call them will be a problem ?

I have a small question, they said to me to not put my bank routing number and my bank account number in email, so I want to know, what can someone do if he knows my bank account number ? I don't see a security reason because, in Tunisia, someone who know your bank account and your name does not mean anything, it is like it don't know. If he don't have an ID ( SSN ) with the name of the owner of bank account he can't do ANYTHING. Isn't the same thing in USA ?

You got to call them immediately. There should be a phone number in your account in Contact us page.
