Here is my new website that I worked on for the past months. http://emo-fever.com Please give me tips on SEO, ad placements, and anything else I'm not aware of. Thank you!
Pretty good theme actually. I would just change the font color for the adsense, the color of the font is gray-ish while the rest of the font is black. I would also remove the visitors counter, thats taking your site back to late nineties.
Nice, one thing though. Every time I load a new page the template shows itself right aligned to my browser window, then when the page is done loading it centers itself. This is causing a flickering.
Hi Yic17, your layout seems pretty good except that for me, I would not want such a deep banner because homepage real estate space is extremely valuable. I think you can easily cut the depth by half to 1.5 inches deep. Regarding your request for SEO tips, I see your homepage url reads as http://emo-fever.com/ Try adding a few keywords to your homepage url as I have done at http://dummipedia.org/Free_Simplified_Online_Encyclopedia instead of merely http://dummipedia.org.
Hi Netdriver788, you mention that the ad placement is not good. Isn't it normal to have the ads on the right panel? What do you suggest? Maybe we can learn a thing or two from you.
Pretty cool website...I don't think there should be made any change to adsense put on...almost 97% of website have ad-sense on right side corner ...I like the top banner (looks nice) and got to know abt emo
I really like the colors of the site, work really well together. Good niche too! I don't think I have ever seen a site on this niche. What is the keyword you are targeting?
Make header links bigger and use some java script( or some thing simple like change color over hover) also make the side bare links bigger
Hi Iloveunicorns, you are proposing Javascript. I have been thinking about whether to use Javascript for my websites but decided against it after I read in some blogs that some users disable their Javascript in their browser. That would be self-defeating. Also, I understand that the less bells and whistles in the homepage, the better. See: Website marketing is not about bells and whistles We avoid unnecessary bells and whistles What do you think about that?
