I started this site in June 2008 and I have posted more than 120 posts since then. Yet the site is not cached by Google. I have checked every aspect of site setup I can think of, installed hyper-cache plugin, generated links, but still not cached. Please can anyone give an idea of how I can change this?
I do hope you have submitted the sitemap to google... and other search engines also... also i will suggest that try to submit your links to social bookmarking sites... hope this helps...
Infogle, thanks for the reply - I should have explained - I have submitted to Google and registered the site on Webmaster tools, 278 items indexed, submitted to directories and web 2.0 sites yet nothing changes. I am at the point of thinking I should just take all my material off this site and re-post to a new domain if I can't make a breakthrough.
Well this could be from a couple of factors. One you could be using a domain that has been banned from Google. The other theory that I have deals with the hosting account that you are using. In the past I have hosted multiple sites as sub domains and have had issues getting these sites indexed. If you doing this I would recommend hosting the site as the root domain not as a sub. I hope this helps.
If your website is indexed and it's just not getting cached, then you properly need to look into your HTML for something similar to this: <META name="ROBOTS" content="NOARCHIVE"> Otherwise, I agree about the domain banning theory and maybe you need to fill a reconsideration request via Google WMT
Definitely not banned, but I found a "noarchive" for googlebot in the header.php file, so i have removed that. Now I just need to wait a few days and see what happens - thanks for the tip
I occasionally create pages on blogspot and wordpress and they get cached within 2-7 days. I guess your domain might be banned. Did you try contacting Google about that? You can post in the discussion forums there to get some professional advice.
You're most welcome mate, hope it's going to gets archived quite soon BTW: A link to your site in your signature here in DP, might make the process even faster
Well google keep Visiting Your home page but not that page, and i see that page is still not index in google , so i am not sure why google Do this to you, maybe people never visit your that Page or maybe you have duplicate content on it thats why google didn't index your that page, otherwise your home page is ok
There's no backlink for that blog. http://www.google.com/search?source...el-cheap-world.org/budget-adventure-holidays/ I guess you need to work on getting quality backlink and submit a sitemap to Google.
Weblogs are not magical formulas in the online world because they too need fresh contents and also many links to get updated and crawled often.
