Review Our New $1 Website Services Site

We have been working on this site for 6 weeks now and are finally ready to launch it. Before we begin promoting this site to the world we want to share it with the dp world.

The site is http://www.onedollarservices.com. Please check it out and give us some feedback as far as design and functionality.

We've already had a few successful sales since the site has been completed. You are welcome to place an order as well. This site will certainly be successful in the near future

I like the idea and concept of the website, but I think the logo is too simple. It needs to be more professional and attractive as you are offering graphic design services. Maybe a better "$" sign and a better font. Everything else looks good.

 

You have a few basic things that stand out.

1. Your about us link in your footer is not linked.
2. The box where the PayPal logo is should take up the entire box and not have the gray showing on either side.
3. Instead of naming your files index-2.html, index-3.html. You would be better off naming them support.html, reviews.html, etc
4. Selling a product or service with out a terms and conditions or privacy statement could lead to disaster.
5. Your contact form should not be hidden under testimonials but right out in the open and should include your physical address and phone number.
6. Your title is to short and contains no keywords
7. A meta description would help
8. If possible, remove the java and put it in an external .js file.
9. Keyword name your images and add alt tags
10. Add title attributes to your text links.
11. Since you advertise web design services. You should have a portfolio.

Thanks for the tips guys. A few of those problems we were already working on. That logo is just a place holder until we finish the new one. I want aware of the linking problem tough. I will look into it.

And yes it really does work. There are a few traffic testimonials already since the site has been up.

Looks a little tacky, too many colors all over the place.

At the very least you should get rid of that red star with the very big black border.

Thats right. And thats lifetime hosting for only $1. Obviously you not getting the same disk space and features as something like godaddy. But its perfect for smaller sites.

 

I know santas little helpers can..lool 16 bitches working at the dollar store!
