I am targeting a 35,100,000 results keyword with avg. of 250.000 monthly searches. My site is currently in the #5 position. With the #5 position , i managed to receive 460 uniques from Google within 29 days. So my question is ... is this Keyword Tool accurate? I mean , the #1 position does really get over 50.000-75.000 uniques / month from that keyword ? I am asking this , because i need to know if i should continue doing SEO on that keyword or not...
The google adwords keyword tool is as accurate as you need it to be. I always use exact keyword phrases to measure impressions and not broad!
We are not sure about the Google tools.. All things must be not so perfect an as accurate I guess.. cos everything is not perfectly made.
well adwords tool is not accurate, but you can use one more tool : http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/ Just check the results from both these tools and you can get a nice idea. Though Seobook is itself not accurate but if you combine a few such tools you will get a rough idea.
I found google keyword very exact .. but for some nice like piano, pet dog its not giving right keyword, I am using keyword country to generate keyword for my site..its a good tool..
when it comes to keywords nothing is perfect. They always carry a considerable amount of error. If you ask Internet Millionaire you will get the same answer.
I really like that SEO Book tool mentioned above, it seems to give a more accurate and realistic count of searches
I hate to say this but it's not accurate. And I still use it as there is no tool available which can give close numbers. All you can do is use a number of tools and make up some estimates. Here's the link of a research recently done on Google Keyword Tool -
No, I'm sure that it is not 100% accurate, it will just provide you some idea, you can only estimate it yourself.
Nah... SEO BOOK is BAD at all ... Google Keyword tool is overrating and SEO BOOK is underestimating IF it was up to SEO book , i would receive in the 5th position 400% of their results ... so it cant be
Could be 100% accurate, but it always depends on the keywords you're targeting... might be a seasonal keyword and ranking will definitely differs from month to month
it is not 100% accurate, but could give a great data and help u to have a more understanding of business I am kinda of trust it
any search estimate tool can not be accurate as you are looking for because each tool data depend on last few months search data base. Google also do same. Some time google show data, which has been change in few day....up and down. we can at least find some good keywords......to do site optimization.
