I think the key is on how well you do SEO on targeted keywords, make sure your have enough pages indexed on popular search engines. You can also do some link exchanges with high related high PR sites. Social networking links helps too. By the way how old is your site? and what percentage of the site visitors came from organic search? analyze carefully where majority of your visitors are coming from so you have idea where to do more efforts. to be honset I would reorganise it a bit first and make sure the person who lands on it knows exactly what the site is doing, why it exists at all. I saw it but was not immedialty hit about the benefits of being on the site. So befoe promoting it I would decide exactly what the site is about, if there is a need for it and whant makes it different from the rest. I would then convey that on the home page so visitors know what they are getting and what you are about. I do this type of thing: ftse spread betting so that visitors know what the site is about straight away. Once that was done I would find a three forums where my clients were and start posting and getting involved int hose communites to build links and business and help others. Hope that helps, dave
yup, i agree with above, make sure you provide good visitor experience too by organizing your site's info and reinvent things (let the audience participate) to make them go back over and over again.... i guess that's some of the key ingredients of a successful website.
