Project Overview: I need a logo designed for a website design company. The company wants to remain anonymous, so just use the title "Fabulous Design" for all samples, the winner will need to change the final design to the real company name. Design Style: The style should be clean, curvy, and simplistic Web 2.0 design style. The logo should have some type of emblem, symbol or unique font style so that it looks good as the entire title "Fabulous Design" or just "FD" or just the emblem. A color scheme has not been selected yet. Looking to use the colour scheme you come up with, but it the logo should work in black & white, or in other colours as well if needed. Sample Logos / Designs: Client has not provided any samples to review. Instead, would like to leave the creativity open to designers and then request changes and modifications as the contest runs. Deadline:Monday Aug 10, 2009 at 6pm EST Please do not wait until the last minute to submit a design. We are hoping to see many logos to review and select send feedback / revision requests quickly. So if i try and incorporate FD to a symbol, the company's start with F and D too? If not can you just tell the first letters of your company?

Here's feedback on the current designs: Overall, att_kiara has submitted a logo that is 100% matching the specifications that I am looking for....I'd love to see more entries like this one! cimbuak - hmmmmm, very interesting, I like the what you've put into this design and the concept iteself including the 3D FD. However, the style of design reminds me of something from the 80's or 90's....it is not as modern as a Web 2.0 look that I'm seeking I welcome you to try again if you think you can come up with a cleaner and sleeker look. thank you. ~WAYNE~ - this is too simple, it doesn't jump out enough at me. I am looking for a lot more out of a logo shinji - your concept is neat but it seems too carribean and colourful. looking for something sleeker, round and web2.0 design style. BRAIN_PAIN - great try. this is kind of retro web2.0, I like it. It's not 100% there though as the colour style and logo style itself is great, but the stroke around the text is too choppy and needs work. With some changes I think you could have a great concept here, but for now it doesn't jump out enough because of the choppyness and it needs a little more...... att_kiara - great work! this is what I mean by Web2.0. This is a great example of what I am looking for, it's sleek, clean, professional, says "Fabulous Design" and has an FD logo.
Mantis - great job on the logo. I think it's really cool and has a nice superhero look to it....but it's not the look that I am looking for. If you want to still give this a shot, maybe try using your same concept but on a white background and a clean look instead of the fades....not sure how the fades will come out on the printer? renderwork - thanks for the submission. I think you put a lot into this and notice a few things that I really like. In black and white, the font is very clean looking (round, clean & clear - perfect), the word Design is emphasized as well, and you came up with an emblem. I think a lot of conceptual work went into that and I really appreciate it. My only comments are that in colour the stroke around the letters detracts from the clean look.....maybe you could just use a nice and solid font? The emblem doesn't seem to scale that well / look as good in black and white....maybe you could try different variations / styles of emblems?
katesrobyn - very creative! this is really good, but I don't think it's 100% the style I'm going after. I do like the F inside the D, just don't like the antlers as much. Maybe making the font a little cleaner and some variation of the FD that keeps it simpler? rigved123 - I'm confussed, is this just a template logo you put together?
rigved123 - just don't understand why you are posting 10+ unrelated designs in the thread....came across as if you had templates ready to go and could change the text.
