It's pretty well known in Washington that the neocons would love nothing more than to have a reason to attack Syria and Iran, and they may be getting close to their last chance to do that before the elections. These next few months could be very stressful for all of us. We must always remember there are real people just like you and I in all these countries: Lebanon, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and even the USA. It is usually just a few crazy people at the top (in the USAs case, the neocons) that bring war and terror to innocent people. The situation today in Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, Afghanistan, North Korea and Iran is much more dangerous than when the current administration in the US took office, and only appears to be worsening. The only hope is to get these people out as soon as soon as possible, and maybe there is hope we can impeach the President, and stop planning for more and more war. As we can all see, it has only made matters worse.
Well, what do you plan on doing? Sending gift cards for peace? Sounds like war is what they want. If they want war, why not give them war? Those innocent people have been standing by doing nothing. If you don't want terrorists in your country, fight them, or else your just supporting them silently, I don't see terrorists in our streets, thats because as a society we don't allow that.
Actually , they did. After the war in 1948 Israel took even more land and forcibly expelled over 700,000 palestinians from THEIR HOMES.

So how does one decide that a war that kills innocent civilians should be justified? They are actually fighting over religion. Which religion do you support? Which one is the best? What should we do with everybody else? Who benefits from an unstable middle east? Large corporations and companies that make weapons. Trillions of dollars. Imagine if we spent $1 trillion for peace, not war.

Why are everyone afraid of nukes? Because the Americans showed the world what can be done with them. And why in hell are America, after creating such a mess with them, allowed to have their nukes when nobody else can have them?
We all lose when there is war. There is a more peaceful solution. We need to work on identifying which countries are supplying weapons. A bunch of rich people are getting richer thanks to all these wars, and they would like nothing better than to see more war.
I'd like to believe that there is another solution. I don't see it. I see a lot of fanatics and even more followers. And the undecided ones often give in to fear, and surrender, and go with the flow. Which in those parts of the world comes down to hating America and Jews. Like this dude put it so wisely I don't see any Muslim members here telling him to shut up. That's what scares me. The inability to trust hardly anyone in those regions.
