How much is advertising worth on my site?

I have a financial blog, lets say I get 10,000 uniques per week. How much could I rent all the advertising for in that one week period. You could totally sell out to the man - banners, popups, adsense, cpa everything.

    Just wondering;) Thanks!

Wait, first, how many specific spots would you sell for advertising? Also, would you only display that client's ads, or would you still have AdSense and such?

Check out this handy text link ad price calculator.
It uses a bunch of factors to estimate a price for a text link on your site.

But keep in mind ad is space worth as much as someone is willing to pay so could be higher if you find the right advertisers.

He's not trying to figure out what text links are worth, he's wanting to know how much money he could make if he totally whored his site out.

PS - your site's topic matters as well.

Well then the best thing to do would be to just try out different ad programs to see which one or combo works best for that particular site. Try Adbrite, adsense, ypn, etc. untill you find the highest paying combo.

Listen to Nike and "JUST DO IT", you will find the most acurate answer that way.

I'm looking to sell out the site to a 3rd party who can put up all the ads they want, not put my own ads.

I just want to know if it is a viable alternative to direct publisher to advertiser advertising.

Nope, just popped up in Google's results.

You could look at what other DP members are selling space for: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/search.php?searchid=1526313

Link is broken (extra http://) but that tool is interesting. Does anyone here have experience with that network?

www.adsbay.co.uk is my site and I am sorry you couldn’t find what you were looking for, although what you are asking seems very unusual. From what I understand you are looking for someone to put other peoples ads on your site for you, basically allowing them to sell it, for which they will take a commission. There are a number of companies that will do this for you; it is just a matter of finding the one that offers the best service for the commission they charge.

At a guess, if your site was receiving 10000 unique hits per week and assuming all your ad space was sold to different advertisers, you would make a minimum of about $4 per day. This is also assuming that the traffic was genuine. But you could possibly make a lot more depending on where most your hits are coming from, what sort of ads you sell and so on.

I also forgot to mention that www.adsbay.co.uk is only a few months old, so you will be able to find more information and great advertising bargains as time goes on. There is a steady pace of new people joining and there are a few great bargains currently available as well. I also have a offer running at the moment which you can see at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=1185921#post1185921 if you are interested.

It depends I'd say, on the quality of your content. As well the more ads you put on might alienate some of your members.
