Squidoo have added infolinks as well with adsense

Squidoo are adding many changes now a days and latest change on their format is adding infolinks on contents.

Now with adsense you can see infolinks as well on their contents in green colour. So this kind of addition will give direct competition to those person who wants to get the traffic from Squidoo Lenses.

But however there are many attractive modules which can show your links separately and attractive.

Squidoo is changing their policies and trying to make squidoo a spam free and junk free place (or can minimise it). So in coming days backlinks from squidoo will be really vital and quality ones.

So if you have squidoo lens for your website than this is good otherwise build it or hire some profession who can build it for you and get the benefit

 

It is a very confusing step, my CTR to my websites have reduced by %60

 

Yes certainly that will effect ... and seriously effect. If you want to get the traffic from lens than use Big Arrow, Black Box to point out about your website and about your links.

Hire a professional who knows everything about lens and can build a perfect professional lens for you.

 

that really sucks because it will definately cut ctr rates to your own links. The only way this would be good is if they split the revenues earnt from that as well - right now it's only off of commissions and adsense. I hope if they add infolinks they're going to give us a commission on that as well.

 

Before you start panicking you should know that this is just a test! Squidoo are trying this for just one week to see if it's worth keeping. Judging by the feedback I've seen already from other Lensmasters, I don't think it will be around for much longer.

If they will earn through it than definitely they will keep it, that's for sure.

 

personally i don't like these kind of links, they're not always targetted and just point your visitors away :-(

 

I used to like squidoo until they started deleting my lenses because they were marked as spam.

squidoo is going downhill and the management is too stupid to realize that 'spam' is what makes them money.
whY?

because spam brings visitors and visitors bring money. The things squidoo consider spam our outrageous. How is leaving a comment on a few peoples blog spam.

let me tell people that dont know. Getting legitimate backlinks isnt spam! and spam is not illegal in any form!

Yes I read this post and its nice to see that they are moving ahead by taking every one.


I am telling you in coming months squidoo will rock ... So build your lens and hire a professional one so that you can get according to their long terms and conditions.

Squidoo people are really working very hard

 

noone will use squidoo anymore. now that you cant spam on there.

 

I disagree, with less spam the perceived value of well layed out and informative lenses will increase in googles valuations and provide more powerful backlinks to your money sites

 

isnt that the purpose of spam sites?

 

If you will provide quality contents and go as per their rules than I do not think that this will be termed as spam. As this is the basic reason why everyone goes there.

Now they have limited number of links as well ... so this will be good. Plus if you will never want that your website will do over optimisation at one place.

 

Squidoo has some good authority to rank but the CTR for affiliate links is pretty low. They have all kinds of in house monetization links which are a good click out option.

 

ok so you want us to provide your site with quality content so you guys can profit off the adsense and other ads? sure ill spend time creating quality lenses instead of MY OWN site.
