Do you know that thieves often carry knives with them? If you a strong man, maybe you can try that.

I did witness someone stealing, we even made eye contact, and I think he was aware that I knew. The crazy thing is, this guy was stealing food at the grocery store, and even had a baby with him! If he were to get arrested, what would become of the baby, but maybe he's not the best parent anyway? I don't know. I just couldn't tell on him, what if he was hungry, and had no money? Not that it makes it right. It's not fair to the store either, I'm very much against stealing, but in this case though, I just let it go. I just went to a different aisle...

I think it depends on who's around you, where you are, and what the thief is stealing. I'd like to think that I wouldn't just look the other way but the safety of me and others around me has to be a consideration.

If someone was staling my car they would be in for a beating. If they were stealing my neighbors loud pile of crap, I would cheer them on.

Geez. First I'd get pissed, then check if he has a weapon, and if not, grab my bat with one hand, and his neck with the other.

Honestly if I don't know the one who he is stealing with, I will just keep quiet. I don't know if he have some back ups and ready to take anyone down.
