IVS claims to have a list and you might want to use that. I prefer to leave it to users visiting my list. Some people give too much importance to PR, others would want to know if directory has it's own IP address.
If a web directory is good enough, the site owner will probably switch to paid directory. so don't waste to much effort to submit to free directories.
I never trust diirectory...most of sellers going there for nothing..only the owner makes money because he shows you his ads..

Maintaining editorial standards, marketing and creating something of value require effort, time and financial investment. In my opinion, strongest directories have high editorial standards, are SEO-friendly, well-marketed, have excellent customer service, offers something to both general visitors and submitters and are capable of helping sites gain a better exposure... When it comes to free directories, the first that comes to my mind is DMOZ. Unfortunately, most fly by night dropped domain PRx free directories aint worth nothing!
