Will Long Tracking ID Affects My Sales Process?

    Dear All,

    I have a very urgent query. I want to know will it affect my orders or sales if I input too long a tracking ID in my clickbank's affiliate link? Will clickbank simply not acknowledge my sales if my Tracking ID on my affiliate links is too long that it exceed the required characters? Kindly advise and enlighten me. Thanks and regards.

    I don't think it will cause a problem.

    To test it out, simply try a hoplink with a long TID, and go to the payment page and check if your affiliate id is shown at the bottom

    You mean test it out with a long TID hoplink and click on it...then go to clickbank's analytics and see if the TID shows out on the analytics?

    Click your hoplink, and press the buy button of the product you're promoting. On the bottom of the buy button, you should see your affiliate ID

    I don't see my affiliate ID at the bottom when I click on buy button. But when I click on the hoplink from my website, it landed on the affiliate product's sales page with my affiliate ID appearing on the url on the top ---> http://www.26-feng-shui-secrets.com/?hop="MYAFFILIATEID"

    So does this means that my affiliate link is still correct and able to generate sales?

    You went to the bottom of the page. It should say something like:
    [affiliate = MYAFFILIATEID]

    or

    [affiliate = MYAFFILIATEID.MYTID]

    I went to the bottom of the sales page and hover my mouse arrow on the "click to order now" button...it does not show my affiliate ID or my Tracking ID...

    But the sales page's url is http://www.26fengshuisecrets.com/?hop=swantonjoaquin27 (My affiliate ID is being shown on the url)

    So does this means my clickbank's affiliate hoplink is correct?

    Regards.

    Hmmm... :confused:

    Your ID is showing correctly... on the vendor's pitch page.

    At Clickbank, it should of read something like [ affiliate = none ], at least.

    It doesn't seem as if you're going all the way to the order page???

    You're clicking on a vendor link, then going to the order button on the vendor's site and clicking it. Now, you're at Clickbank ... At the bottom of the page you claim there's nothing, not even somebody else's ID, nothing?

    Sorry, I am pretty confused at how you want me to test out.

    I don't understand what you mean by "at clickbank, it should read something like [affliliate = none] at least."

    I suppose you mean click on the affiliate text link or affiliate picture link on my own website and i will be directed to the vendor's sales page site, then from there i will need to scroll to the bottom and hover my mouse arrow onto the "buy now" or "order now" button? But I do not see any affiliate links on the bottom when i hover my mouse arrow over it...

    But the conclusion is that my Affiliate Link should be correct right? I did make 5 sales before but currently i have not been earning sales for the past 2 weeks...I was wondering if my affiliate links are correct or not...

    Kindly elaborate and advise...thanks.

    Oh I saw it...you mean at the bottom of the vendor's sales page's order page there...i saw something like [affiliate = swantonjoaquin27.fskuanumberbegreview]

    So does this means my affiliate link is correct and I will be generating sales when people click and buy?

    Thanks.
