    You can scan your PC Online now , You dont need to install any anitvirus software , Search on Google and your will find lots of online anti virus scanning websites like Trend micro

    agree, you can check your PC online, but sometimes some type of virus have abilities to block the online anti virus scanning websites, I think we still need to install and keep updating anti virus software for the best protection.

    turn the pc off the virus wont be able to do anthing then... i had a virus once kept on giving me pop ups so i turned my monitor off BOOM the virus was gone.

    If you hit ctl-alt-del are there any processes that are using a high percentage of the CPU?

    If so see if killing that process helps. If so that could be your culprit.

    Also notice that you do have a few processes running twice. As a quick check try ending items that are there twice (with the exception of svchost.exe)

    Go to Msconfig and uncheck any duplicate processes you see loading at startup.

    I'm downloading a few tools to scan. I scanned once and got rid of some torjan and found my computer faster but it's still slower then normal.
