Any success with the gaming niche?

Is there any success in the video games guide niche if we exclude WoW guides? I would like to promote guides from other games due to lower competition but i have no idea if they sell....

As a affiliate I was making decent amounts from game guides then I release my own guide Eve Billionaire for Eve Online you should check it out it may be just what you are looking for.

Eve guides are good right now you could also try some AoC guides or Warhammer guides, the only problem I found with these is due to them have much lower player bases the target audience is a lot smaller.

The gaming niche is a good niche to start in since the traffic and sales are easier to get in my opinion since the customers are online all the time and they are most likely paying to pay so they wont mind spending some money on a decent guide.

I am not a gaming guide affiliate, i am more of a publisher, and wanted to know if its a market worth exploring.

I wouldnt say it will make your rich but it can make you some $$$$ just watch out what you do since these nasty online game companies like to try and sue everyone that rights a guide about their game

Might I suggest guides for popular Flash games? People are often trying to earn those badges on Kongregate.

Yeah even if you write a guide on your own knowledge of gold making or leveling for example. they will try and get you to take it down
