$35 Green Logo Contest to be followed by site template and flyer PART ONE: LOGO

I am making a creation, will be up in 3 hours

 

We are getting towards the end... So before I make a final decision...Some questions:

Tajio: If I were to select one of your latest designs how would it work on a white background? I really like the brown which could work for a business card, even a tshirt, but even if I cant print it on a white tshirt what do I do with a letterhead? It's hard & expensive to always use brown letterhead and forms!

you_love_me44: Yours, so far, is the only designs that will work on white. Not that I always want to do that, but it seems like a requirement, at least part of the time.

Chemicalinck: Guess you don't want to work with you_love_me44? Also havn't seen any alternative symbols. So
i will only consider your last two submissions. My same question to you as to Tajio: how would they work on a white background?

Well i dont mind working with you_love_me44....i really dont have any problems. But then im not sure how this will work again. Maybe you could PM me how this one will be done in more detail?

Sorry Suke- I have tried to respond to as many as possible! Nice work but the type and logo are both not right for this project. What is evolving by Chemicalinck, Tajio and you_love_me44 is a very clean and simple design that is still unique/original and interesting. The only thing better at this point would be a (an even) MORE organic design.

As for Lejka - you promised another design but asked a question first. I ANSWERED that question right after you posted it TWO DAYS ago- but I havn't seen anything since!

The only thing pending my decision at this point is that prateek.mallapur asked for more time which I assured him of and about EIGHT hours ago he promised a new design "in three hours."

Am I missing anything here?

As for Chemicalinck it's simple- you_love_me44 sends you his clover and you send you_love_me44 your layout, type and letter G. You both work on something SEPERATELY using YOUR type and layout and his clover and or your G. IF EITHER of you are selected a winner YOU EACH get $35 prize. What other questions do you have?

If this is agreeable to you send him yours and I'm sure he'll send you his- and just work on something! You can also play around with some of his more recent logo submissions (see above.)

I've never tried this before but it's called "COLLABORATION" and/or "TEAM" and neither of you have ANYTHING to lose! If either of you are chosen you BOTH win!

Chemicalinck - YES, this works.

Still prefer original G to new one, but still wish you did something different and better. I like the look and I like the feel. I think it's only the fact that its a "G" and that simply doesn't capture the business or even the whole name. "Green" itself is just a 'label' like 'organic' or 'hand made' or 'new item' etc. Otherwise it's (still) a very beautiful "G"

This is very nice too but it is too meek. Its soft but it's not a strong logo. It doesn't stand out. It reminds me of a health spa or something. I'm sorry, but please read some of my previous comments and you will see what I am looking for. Especially the questions I suggested a designer ask themself. Thanks, Doug

I have reworked my previous design into something that I think better suits what you are looking for:



Its got three in one symbolism, the third symbol being a dustpan (i.e. cleaning.)

i got the file made some changes i hope u like it, its in psd format n in very low resolution if u like the idea then i change it to vector art, i hope u like it

 

Wow thats pretty good........(now how come i didnt think of that)....lol......anyway my third revision although not "taken" from you_love_me44 is based on his concept. I was looking at the clover and the gradient when i got the idea.....

Just a tip though bro....

align the green "G" with the arrow....it kinda looks taken out somehow

 

You guys are DEFINITELY on the right track. I don't want to extend this to too long a contest becuase 1) other contestants would like some resolution and 2) because I'd like a final logo already! But between you and a few others we are certainly VERY close.

I love the chemicalinck's last design but its just not as appropriate as the other more organic ones. Also the word "green" screaming out in blue...

Not sure what you mean by aligning the arrow but why dont you do it so we see what you mean...

Also, how about trying the leaf inside the "G"?

And perhaps the G superimposed on top of the clover?

Then I think I can choose something...
