Grey Hat link building method - how's your moral doing?

    I though it would be fun to hear what peopl think about this grey hat method:

    we all know the problem, of getting on the "top commentators" list without appearing to spammy. Especially if the top commentator has like 50 comments.

    well, this little trick can help. It seems that if you use the same username as one already on the top commentators list, and just write your chosen url, the url will change for this name. So, you can steal the top commentators spot with a single comment.

    This doesn't work with all comment systems, but I know for sure it works with "Intense Debate". ( I tested and left another comment with the original url for the user)

    Personally I think this is not only unethical, but down-right rude to to take advantage of other peoples hard work, not to mention getting their nicks connected with wierd website links.

    I am not endorsing this method in anyway, but I'd love to hear how many of you readers would take advantage of this exploit?
