Over 6000 (whitehat) backlinks in 10 days! See how I did it.

I just thought that I would share some success that i've had building links for my Finepix Real 3D digital camera blog (bottom right in sig). I've been really working hard to build links for this site and I think my hard work is paying off. I have SEO Quake for firefox and used DNScoop.com to determine that I have built about 6,600 links in 10 days.

    Here's what i've been doing:

    - Go to blogsearch.google.com and search for blogs using your site's main keywords. Go through each blog, write a comment, and enter your site's url. I went through at least the first 20 pages of results.

    - Create a squidoo lens, a Hubpage, a Wordpress blog, a Blogger blog, and a WetPaint page about your topic and include links back to your main site.

    - Submit your site to social bookmarking sites (ie. Digg, Stumbleupon, etc.) there are litterally 100s of sites you can submit to.

    - Submit your RSS feed to various sites....do a search for 'RSS feed submit'

    - Put a link in your forum sigs

This work is really tedious and I can honestly say that I hate it, but it feel good when you can see that your hard work is paying off. You could probably outsource alot of this as well if you're really not feeling it.

I know none of these are new techniques, but I hope some of the users new to marketing can get some use out of these tips.

    Thanks,

    Kevin

This is a good strategy well known to work well. I am just in doubt if that is possible in ten days....the work is really boring and its tough to stick to it.

This is just a common link building method but thanks for the effort, I just want to ask if how well is your rankings and earnings for your site? We all know even you have a hundred thousand links if you're not ranking high it's no sense. Keep up the good work!

check dnscoop.com for my digital camera site in my sig. There's no point in me lying here, i'm not selling anything.

Considering the site is only 11 days old now, i'm ranking pretty well. I'm on page two for my main keyword and on the bottom of page one for a couple of my alternate keywords. No earnings to speak of yet, but I didn't expect any until sometime in September.

    Thanks,

    Kevin

Great post, but what we're all DYING to know is has it affected your search engine rankings? Perhaps leave it a few weeks for more links to be indexed and get more real results - but that's what your efforts have gone into; have they yielded the response you REALLY want?

If you're referring to your FinePix Digi camera website then this is the Yahoo Site Explorer Analysis; https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/search?p=http://www.finepixreal3dw1.com/&fr=sfp&bwm=i

Pretty impressive.. but you seem to have a heck of a lot of links from freshnews.in - not sure how relevant all these are to digital cameras, but then I haven't spent hours looking at all your links!

When I say this has happened in 10 days, this is also the age of my site! As I explained in my previous post my SE rankings are OK, but I expect better rankings once my site matures.

the Freshnews.in links were not expected. They must be coming from an RSS feed that i've submitted.

    Thanks,

    Kevin

    Hi,

Thanks for the tips. I will try to comment on blogs. I agree that it is indeed a tedious task. I just submit to a few social bookmarking websites such as StumbleUpon, Digg. Can you provide me with the list of 100 social bookmarking website? I am using AddThis.com button in my blog post and there are only 55 sites listed.

Grats. As everyone else here says, these techniques are very common, but still shows what a little work and determination can do. Keep doing what you do, and you'll probably get a well working site!

Yes, but focusing that work on specific tasks such as acquiring a link from a Cnet review or something could yield even greater results!

If you're running a wordpress blog use the 'add to any' plugin...there's actually 114 listed if I counted correctly

Thanks for information. I am now using SEO Quake and dnScoop. I just recently set-up my blog and I am also looking forward to build links as many as possible in just a short span of time.
