I have this forum called http://awforums.com but I have no clue how to make money with it. I could put ads up but ads never make much money. Does anyone know how to make money with it. I am not selling it.
you cant, well i mean forums arnt the best way to make money and it requires a lot of work its probably one of the hardest things to do.
You have to promote your forum, I'd say this is a start but you still got a long way to go. I've seen new forums offering bunch of free stuff or hiring posters to draw interest initially until the forum grows.
When I used to own forums I found the best way to make money with them is to sell links on the pages. Once you have a lot of threads and building posts you can sell them for more and more.
making money with forums is really hard..when your forum grows but ad income does not you may even lose money..for server expenses
try to sell a product or service that relates to the forum subject matter. As the others have noted, it's a difficult way to make money unless you have a huge database.
first you have to promote your forum and get alot members[make daily price or competition], make usefull thread and finally put some ads,.... or maybe you can rent some space on your forum,
Pretty much. We tell our hosting clients who want to include advertising to join a marketer like cj.com and pick and choose advertisers that fit your forum. Relying on something like Adsense is just to random. Either that or find a decent PPV advertising service.

you have to sign up for google ad sense..they check your web site and give you ad codes if your site is fine with their TOS...
