We all know SEO on 1 site isnt built in 1 day or even 30 days for a competitive keyword. So in your opinion, why does it normally take up to 90 days to see the best results?
It's a simple answer really. The industry of web design is huge, the internet is huge, it just takes time. We're not talking about being best in the class, or best in the office, or best in our town even, this is the internet. There's millions of websites, tons of competition, you just can't compete with that in less than 90 days when thousands of competitors have been doing exactly what you're doing and more for years. Simply put, it's a busy industry and in the grand scheme of things, 90 days is a couple seconds.
Competition is the operative term for that. An SEO campaign takes time because the competition is tough in cyberspace. If your target keywords are competitive, you should allot more time building links to it to outrank your competition.
The amount of time taken to promote any new sites for search engine is dependent on how fast they index or 're-index' the pages with your links on them.
I believe that after 90 days of working 2 hours a day top rankings are easily possible. What you choose to do with those 180 hours is obviously the most important part. If your website is useful to people and has a "buzz" about it then you'll rocket up the serps before your PR is even calculated......
simple.....Google wants to have a look at your website for a long time until it decides that the website is really worth for the visitors .
it varies for different businesses and websites.i have seen great results in a few weeks for websites that i optimized whilst some websites have taken over 7 months to see positive results.
I agree with webpromoterservice it all depends on the market a new site for a coffee shop in a small town if properly optimized could rank for "coffee shop small town" in no more than a month but if you get into a highly competitive market such as gambling, marketing, adult, pharmas, loans, etc it might take a lot longer than 3 months to see results. There isn't a specific time frame to rank for something, it is all relative to the competition, if you have none it might take a couple of days but if you a lot of well optimized competitors it might take more than a year to get top ten positions.
It seems that I come here late. But I still have something to say. First, it takes time for the spider of the search engine to grab your website and its optimization. Therefore there may be a chance for it to be found. And what's more, as we all know, Rome was not built in a day. So whether your SEO is effective or not depends on the result of competing with others in the cyberspace. So you can finish the SEO in one day, but you have to wait for 90 days till you can see the real effect.
