    Hi everyone,

I really appreciate if you guys would spend a little time to give me some advices or suggestions about my plan.
Okay, I am planning to setup a recruitment/ hr site in Sweden using English. The reason for using English instead of Swedish is Swedish people can really speak English fluently and many foreigners like students, workers are not really good at Swedish. The site will work just like a normal recruitment site: a place where employers can post their job ads and job seekers can search and apply for the jobs by submitting CV, personal info and etc. We make money by charging the employers and we spend money on marketing, P.R, hiring staff and so on.

So what do you think are some of the most important factors to be successful with this plan?

I am opening this thread with a hope to get some advices/suggestion/experience or first feeling of the idea. That is really meaningful to me.

    Thank you for your time!

Are you trying to start something like hourly jobs, or salaried jobs? If you want something more for hourly jobs you can look at www.snagajob.com and create something like that...

    This niche is already saturated.
But you can try something new.
Such as do some event at college and let the student to sign up at your site.
And give some free ads to company to test your website.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions/feedback and questions.

Actually, I got a formula that even the market niche is saturated, I still feel confident that there are some empty space for us as long as we do it wiser. I am thinking to develop a nice interface site, a bit technology-focused software which is used to ease the recruitment process such as: scan/identify/filter/interview/offer candidates which I believe some (or almost) other H.R or recruitment sites out there are not focusing... Being a cheap geek, I can do that cheap cheap...lol so cheap IT is one of my advantages, I have a bit of network (not really huge but I am trying to widening it)...

Still climbing tree, searching/surfing net for new suggestions/advices/...

    Again, thank you guys!!!

I am doing a H.R website where employers and job-seekers can meet up by posting and applying jobs respectively. I am not quite clear about your questions but I hope you will find the similarities by my clarification above. Sure, I will take a look at your link.

    Thank you

Unfortunately, I don't have a business plan at the moment. One of the reason is I am not looking for investors... but if you question, I am happy to share with you almost anything...

It is always smart to draw up a business plan even if you are not looking for investors. Whenever I start up a new venture, no matter how big or small, I draw up a business plan, marketing plan and action plan. This way you have clear, well set out goals, strategies on how you will achive those goals and a structured implementation plan.

If you are serious about this, put it into writing. If you are unsure as to how to draw up a business plan, there are many online facilities which can guide you through the process. Visit a site called marketinghub.info. Owned by a bloke here in Australia, I think he still has a nice business plan template which you could go off there. All the best!

Post up an Outline of your Business plan, Fail to plan, definately plan to fail. Its the first thing you should be doing after research. Even if it is basic it gives you laser Targeted Direction. Good Luck
