Hi, if you target a less competitive keyword, you can get a lot of pages up into the 1st page of Google. If you target very competitive keywords like dog training, they won't be ranked, but they will pass link juice to your own site.

I have niches in Adwords, a very competitive niche. I ran many campaigns on it, targeting any keyword that I can think of. Since most of the content I run is related, it creates a great link neighbourhood and information that supports each other.

The result, I see my main site ranking in many keywords that I have never thought of. I saw them in Google Analytics. People are coming from all kinds of random searches and my site was ranked in 1st page, so they can easily reach my site.

That's why, you can use a keyword tool to get a general direction, but as long as you are building a good link neighbourhood, your site will get automatically ranked in many keywords that you have no plan to target at all.

That's what I found out with my own sites and hopefully this information is useful to you.

Hi Bro, yes, adding to the mix is the right word! With the runs, and with more runs, your site will rise and get ranked for many keywords, some that you don't even think of. Keep an eye on your Analytics or other tracking tools, you sure will see people entering your site from many keywords that you did not target. That's why a link neighbourhood with relevant and related content can boost the whole site up into high visibility and exposure.

Link neighbourhood, not linkWheel, is what we are going after, though we still call it linkWheel as it is a more common term.
