Until today I haven't met anyone who wears Prada (high end clothing). Then I noticed the lady @ the corner store had some really cool shoes and I asked her who made them and they were Prada !!
i used to have a 200 dollar sandal when i was younger(it is just a normal one, i bought it only for Prada's name)..that was stupid.. Now i rather spend 200 buck on 3 pair of different shoes...
I know plenty of females that wear Prada and wouldnt think twice on going out to buy a £400 ($750) handbag or shoes. And they call us men mad
I've got a Prada handbag......and I still use an old discman and don't even have cable tv (by choice, not lack of funds I think it's just a matter of spening your extra cash on what you enjoy!

a case of to each his pwn. my wife wouldn't be caught dead w/something like that for sheer economic reasons...unless of course she happened to pick it up at a garage sale but what are the odds of that! I think (and I'm over generalizing here - but for an example) the younger you are the more important it is b/c you sometimes feel like you have to have certain 'status' among possessions. for me it might have been Levi jeans in high school and Nikes or something like that vs. the 'store brand' say.
