there many ways to get traffic to your website

free and paid ways. Seo is a way you can get traffic

your website but it may take time to get traffic.

PPC (pay per click ) is another way to get traffic to your

website but it will cost money

How is Adbrite working out for you?

I found the traffic didn't really convert that well.

I guess it's the limited amount of websites in the network?

For me personally, I was targeting websites to the niche I was working in.

I'm not saying anything negative about Adbrite - many marketers use it as a testing platform before laying out cash with Adwords.

Unless you have a ton of money to purchase relevant high PR links, just stick to article submission, social bookmarking, and forum participation in the beginning. Buying links is really a waste of money anyways, if you are willing to do the work and be patient about the progress, it's best to get the basic down first.

One of my favorite ways to start promoting my sites is to build relevant backlinks to your site on other peoples blogs by commenting. First you need to find some high pagerank blogs ( pr2 - pr4 ) that are dofollow. I am sure most of your here know what dofollow means, but for those who don't - dofollow means you will get credit for the links you make on other peoples blogs.

To take it one step further find blogs that have top commentator plugin installed. Top commentator means you will get a site wide link if you post enough comments, and it is definitely worth it. I was about to build over 8,000 links with this method in about a week with only 2 hours of work. Just check the side of the blogs and you will see if there is a top commentator option ( also it is sometimes on the bottom of the page ). Good luck.

I would say about just naturally through seo. write or outsource some articles and put then on your site as a different catagory.

    PPC traffic could work too.

    blogs also maybe

your website traffic can be improved using two methods

    1)on page optimization
    2)off page optimization

on page optimization refers to website optimization techniques and implementation and promoting your website.

off page optimization refers to directory submission ,article submission ,social bookmarking etc ...

First of all, you should have the quality content in your site. If you don't have that quality content, all kind of promotion fails. So create valuable content and keep the work going, soon you articles will be shared across everyone and hence more links to you.

Never pay money for promoting your site and never go for automatic methods of promotion, that leads to trouble at some point of time. I would recommend Article Marketing is the best method to achieve success for the long term.

On page optimization is must, in order to grab the search engine attention and to catch top SERP's. Don't expect immediate results, you have to promote continuously and for sure that takes time. Be patience.

If you really need immediate results, go for Google Adwords but you have to invest money from your hand.
