Big Announcement

I know this may look like self promotion, and it is, but with good intention. After looking almost everyday for dofollow automotive blogs to backlink (via leaving comments), I was not able to find one that was still active. I have resorted to the less effective forums, as a result.

Through hard work, I have managed to get my pagerank to 3, making my blog (www.autotribute.com) the only active dofollow automotive blog on the web. For all those who have automotive blogs, I know how hard it is to find active blogs to post comments on. Just know that such a blog exists and it's called AutoTribute. Spread the word.

Congrats to you, though I don't have an automotive blog. Nice tagline too.

My site has several things that these sites don't have, most importantly:

    1) It's updated on a regular basis

    2) It's strictly automotive in its focus.

    3) Has a relatively high page rank

I can't seem to find an automotive site that has all of these qualities. I would be happy to find some so that I can get some quick backlinking done.

    P.S., Thanks for the compliment.

Okay I misread what you wrote in your main post... I didn't notice the word ACTIVE lol.

    Here's a good tip though
copy and paste this into good search: EXACTLY how I wrote it.... it you want to look for cars or automobiles... just change 2009 june to cars or automobiles
    site:.com “Allowed HTML tags:<a>” 2009 june

You will notice the very first link there is a cars site :) it's active, I haven't gone through all the pages yet, but I'm sure we can find more!

    Just search this using google:
    site:.com “Allowed HTML tags:<a>” 2009 june

It lists all the blogs that are do follow from June 2009. It so happens that a car blog is the first link.

BUT let's say you want to find a dofollow car blog or automobile blog specifically then do this:
    site:.com “Allowed HTML tags:<a>” cars
    OR
    site:.com “Allowed HTML tags:<a>” automobile

This will retrieve all dofollow blogs that relate to cars or automobiles. The point though, is that they are supposed to be active blogs.

I am well aware of hybridcars.com. It's seems they've started updating the website again. The only problem is that the comments do not display or make clickable my homepage. Try leaving a comment yourself with your homepage.

I was successful in finding other automotive blogs using the tool you gave me. But this is one tool I will be using often. Thanks.

Really? I've seen many automotive websites that have just as many, if not more, ads. Actually, I would go as far as to say most have the same number of ads or more.

What I meant was that I wasn't successful in finding other active dofollow automotive blogs.

I wish people who post comments for backlinking purposes would use more original names.

Your right the link is NOT clickable, but it still counts as a backlink to your site.

Kind of stinks they are not clickable, but whatever. At least you can get a backlink. All sites using that search method are do follow.

As far as finding other sites, I have not really tried. Just tested to make sure it works.

How do you know it gives you a backlink? I'll be my next favorite website.
