Do you own yourname.com - I just got mine today

Mine was grabbed by some domain parking company for many years. I just happened to check today and it was available! Yummy.

 

i wish, and i want my wifes too. but some Israeli ( or something ) princess owns it.. maybe when she dies we'll get it..lol

 

i own mine for 10 years but it's a .cc as .com is cybersquatted!!

 

I got mine a while back from 1and1.

It's ok I suppose, but there is better places to buy domains from, such as Yahoo.

I registered myname.com about 2 years ago. I'm pretty sure there are only a few people in the world with my name so I didn't have much competition and I guess I was the first one to make the move!

 

I got a shortened version of my name - timw.com, as opposed to my full name timothywong.com (which is taken).

timw.com was taken for years before i got it!

 

Yeah, I own a dot com with my name.

 

my name is too unique, so it would be safe unless i made it on newspaper. Anyway, no one refer me by my real name

my name happens to be same as some computer part, can't think of getting it

 

well i surely would love 2 have a .com for my name , but itz already registered for a company in Italy.. *quite strange*

I've got the .co.uk and the .eu versions. The .com was for sale a few years ago but the guy wanted $500 for it which I didn't have at the time. Now it's gone into the big corporate world.

not using it now, but planing to make a personla blog on it, when I'll have time (not likely in next ten years..lol)

 

At the time(1999) i wanted to register sumit.com since it was already registered i contacted the Admin in whois, that guy asked $575 from me, it was big money for me at that point and i couldn't afford it.

Few years later i registered sumitbahl.com instead.

At that point is registered 123microsoft.com as well, few days later i got a letter from Microsoft, they said surrender the domain to them or be ready for the legal action, i gave them the domain. I just checked, its available again. register it, if you wanna play with Bill.

my name's domain is still available. but this thread is giving me inspiration for registering it.
