I have a colleague. She is now not my colleague. She often asks my boyfriend and I to do something for her. She moved her home. We carried their things until it was 12pm. I am fed up with her!

You can say NO if you are not willing to do

Yes, Micford is right. Just say big NO to her. All she needs is rejections. I think you won't feel so sad loosing a friend like her, right? :)

I would just be upfront about the whole thing and call her out on it.

Hmmmm... Even i have a problem in saying "No" and people make the most of it.
I know i am being used. But, I don't want to change my self.

    :(

Just ask her to do something for you, let her feel the same! She may get felling of fed up,then she would not ask you any more. OR if she would say NO, then next time you simply can say NO to her too!

I know that kind of feeling. I've been there...they always ask for free services, free snacks/meals, lend them money which they don't pay etc...

It took me a lot of courage and told them upfront how I felt. I learned to be frank. I told them I'm not happy the way they treat me as their friend. It's like I'm being used! If they can't treat me nice, then I'd be happy to drop them!

You just have to speak up and tell her how you feel. Don't do things for her all the time...esp if she can do it herself.

If you don't feel like doing it, then don't!

Say NO and be direct. You are not a mean person by standing up for yourself and your beliefs. In fact your friend will respect you more for it! If you do nothing she will walk all over you. Shouldn't your boyfriend help you with this advice? Doesnt he know how to say NO as well?
