I prefer Chinese food myself. (American Chinese, not authentic Chinese) Some shrimp Lo Mein and a fortune cookie is a great meal.
Trust me one this one my friend, I have tried it, more than once, I've worked for Indian folks and it's been hard to avoid, believe me, but I don't, sorry. I like the smell of it cooking, strange but true, but I can't stand the taste, I don't know why I just plain don't like it. I can't see me liking it ever tbh. Any hint of spices and I pull a face, spit it out, and go get a bag of chips Culture wise, there's the internet, I can be anywhere in the world in seconds, but I only have to go to my town center and it looks like I'm in a foreign country
OMG, I forgot to mention I LOVE Chinese food! Beef Chao Fan with beef siomai toppings.. *mouth waters*

Well, I'm an Indian and i love Indian food, specially south Indian food.... Chicken Briyani is my favorite....
