There are some limitations in the license, but if people are willing to pay a fee for free software that's not against the rules.

 

The problem is I DO NOT want to pay for a free software, because it is free. And nowhere on his site Michael has written that he sells Wordpress. And I did not know it was wordpress. If I knew, I would add modules to Wordpress and start my dating site free of charge.

Now Michael have invented some black pr campaign and that all the comments are made by some Dmitry from Russia. Well I am not from Russia, and also I not Dmitry, I live in the US now. And I was a client of Michael now trying to get the money back and spread the word all around the web about Wazzum scam and Wordpress selling.

 

Got another email from a web developer from Philipines:

"I'm a web developer who was tasked to develop a dating website for this software. To put it bluntly, it is a nightmare for a programmer like me. Basically the software, from its layout to the server side code, is a pain in the ass to update. It has a crappy templating system which is using tables. Hard to modify.

You have these plus NO DOCUMENTATION whatsoever. As of the moment all the websites that are being hosted by wazzum are down, including their own website wazzum .com. If I was to asked to use this software again, I would not mind making my own from scratch.

They setup fake review websites, spam forums, spam directories to "clean" their bad reputation.

I will tell about my experience with Wazzum.

I bought this script May 2009. At first Michael (supposedly this is Michael Pennington) who has developed this script replied to all the calls, emails, I also sent him a bug list in order to correct it. He thanked me and said he would do it soon. Then I called him again, and now he seemed not to be inclined to speak with me. And the script was unusable due to numerous bugs.

After 2 weeks, I decided to get a refund. I called him to hear, that i was an idiot, that the corrections can not be done this fast, and that the refund can not be issued.

Ok, I contacted PayPal and they started the case. And I lost the case, becaue PayPal gives refunds on digital goods VERY seldom.

Well what can I say. I checked the ip s of Michael's emails, they are 202.57.128.68 which is Thailand. All emails from Thailand, so no slightest possibility to have the US law involved.

I do not want to hire a programmer to correct the bugs, because the script itself after using it a bit seems rather poor in features and not interesting for the users. So we can say that I was robbed, I do not care about the WordPress thing mentioned above, if it worked. And it did not. This is the problem: it is not functioning, no money back. All the rest is ok

 

All these negative posts about Wazzum have been done by a person Dmitry of ABK-Soft.com. A known scammer per the BBB website. I'm in Portland, Oregon and I'm not a scammer. My phone numbers are not routed to Thailand and if you do a traceback on my phone numbers you'll see that my cell phone, home phone and business lines are all in Portland, Oregon. Myself and my company are 100% transparent and the reason for that is because of Russian scammers. They hide behind their computers. I don't hide. The IP of this post will show that I'm in Portland, Oregon. I have about 50 customers and they all know that I am in Portland, Oregon and that I give great support and I have good software not like this Russian scammer who is trying to blacklist me. Do the research and you will see that I'm not in Russia or Thailand. I'm right here in Portland, Oregon. Have I traveled to Thailand for vacation? Yep, go about 2 times a year. It's a great place to visit.

What is funny is that I can prove I'm in Portland, Oregon. Unlike any other dating software provider. Do the research and find out. Better yet, call me or come by my office. I will put my money where my mouth is unlike Dmitry who is a scammer out of Russia.

When i first start contact whith Michael he was werry open, answare fast on skype and show werry god service, as he also promes me the best service. I did pay him 200 USD and he did watt we agree. Then i pay 100 USD moore, that was part of our agreement. But it was moore to do on the page, and it was stil not working. Then he sendt me the bill iss 400 USD. I did lukkely only pay the 200 again, becose after that he newer do anything moore for me and the page. The hole page a shame. After weeks and weeks and weeks he just send me a few words on email that he gonne do the jobb, but he newer do it. He dont answare my email, he dont answare the skype.
Then suddenly sending me a mail, claim that he alredy done watt i payd for, but the page like chit, just crap, stil not working.

Thats my experience. And about the person start this tread, Polok is it? He can imposible be a Dmitry trying to fuck Michael. Why in this world a scam person try to publical attack another scam person that knows hes a scammer ? They bout end upp in shame then, and a computer scamer can not be that stupid.

Michael send me last mail 12 July:

"Software was 300 dollars and you only paid 200 dollars so you owed me 100 more. You just paid 200 more. 100 that you owed me and 100 for the WORK that I did on your site. Was NOT a scam. You got a problem with that then you go get a lawyer. I'm not going to play games with you. I know what you paid and I know what work was done."

This just bullshit. He newer make my page work, he just suddenly stopp responding after last payment on 200 usd. Wassum is a scam.
Hes program i see fore sale at 50 USD, just seach the nett and you see it 50 USD. When i told Michel he was laughing. He say my 200 USD was fore the best costomer service.

Yes the same with me.. he is such an angel, shows his facebook profile, everything is so happy.. after you pay him something happens with him, he just forgets about how nice he used to be, and becomes a piece of shit. You are not the one Joroald, and thank you for your evidence. Only together, posting the truth as much as we can, we can get results. Can you printscreen this email you got from him with all the technical info visible, like IP etc? We can use this in our lawsuit as well.

IP address, well, there should be a button like "Show all headers" or something like this, it shows all the technical info about the email.
