Agreed! But, Page Rank should not be the only reason behind submitting to paid directories. So many paid dairectories have internal page rank of PR 3 - 5 which is really good.
I am looking for traffic and good back links. PR doesn't really matter. Can anyone recommend some good paid directories for that?
I wrote if it has less than 50 website in each category its good, because more chance people will click on your website, than says if its 500 website in each category.
Ok I added my site to the following paid directories: uncoverthenet.com dirspace.com goguides.org alivedirectory.org wowdirectory.com I think those are pretty good directories. What do you guys think? I have $24 left and I will probably go with a few more free/low priced directories.
Your submissions to these directories are fine. If you have a little money left, also try: www.octopedia.com ($25 for TWO submissions!) www.site-sift.com (great prices, high PR) www.botw.com (been online since 1994!)
Let's hear a few BTW, BOTW.org does not guarntee that you will be included. That kind of scares me. I don't want to pay $49 and get nothing out of it. Has anyone ever been denied by botw.org?
I came across this thread and since I'm working on a paid directory, I thought I'd ask a question: what do webmasters want from a paid directory? What's most important: Pagerank or Alexa Rank?
