    there are similar posts on B**. it is intriguing how every community regards itself as better than every other. but let's not get into a discussion on that here.
    you cannot deny that the (other) site in question is just as active as DP. the kind of information posted is different. the general attitude of the members is different. but you will find just as many people to vouch for that forum as you will for this one.
    we all have our own views. and while you compare it to a dead nail on one's foot, members over there compare DP with much worse :p
    let's leave it at that

    Thanks, but you are giving me a little more credit for being omnipotent than I really am. :) Believe it... this thread is the first I heard of Blackhat World, BWH or blackhatworld.com. Someone could say some rare Chinese strain of rice is my evil twin, doesn't mean I know anything about it. And truth be told, your reference to it being my evil twin is also the first I heard that as well.

    Ask yourself this... I don't have enough time to hang out in my own forum, why would I be hanging out in other people's forums?

    If the attention span of the average Internet use is 30 seconds, mine would be more like two seconds. In the two minutes I stumbled around BHW looking at it, all I remember about it now is that the contrasting colors in it's design reminded me of a MySpace profile that a 19 year old might make. All it did in the end was give me a headache and never let me actually dive into the content itself (content might be fantastic, but I don't know... never got that far). Just reiterates I'm getting old I guess. :)

    Do you find yourself babbling about how loud and annoying the music of today is? Have you ever thought why motorcycles seem so loud now?

    And I can see your point about internet attention span. I have no idea how people can jump from facebook, twitter, youtube, myspace, and still spend hours a day working on their own websites on top of it. And if they are not on the internet, they are on their cell phones sending pictures, photos, texts, watching videos, playing games, etc.

    I feel really tired just typing this....I need to go lay down....

    Looks like they just changed IP addresses/hosting providers is all, probably had a TTL on their DNS records that was longer than they wanted when they switched.

    Why would the ISP suck? The default TTL is typically 86400. If you're going to make changes, always ask that they TTL is set to 300 (5 minutes) at least a week or two prior to making those changes.
